SVS Prime Wireless SoundBase | Crutchfield

The SVS Prime Wireless SoundBase provides power for just about any pair of speakers, and let you stream directly to it over Bluetooth or your WiFi network. It's part to the DTS Play-Fi system, and can become a separate zone in that system.

With 150 watts RMS into 4 ohms, the SoundBase can feed almost any pair of speakers the power they need to sound great. And when you connect it to your home network, you can use the DTS Play-Fi app to consolidate all your favorite music streaming services into a convenient app.

In addition to its wireless capabilities, the SVS SoundBase lets you make any number of connections, including a set of analog RCAs, a minijack, even an optical input. There's a subwoofer output, too, which you could use to connect any one of SVS high-quality subs.

Good video, but puzzled when he said he took it home & used it with some powered speakers. One of the big features of this unit is to power passive speakers so it seems like that should have been tested & mentioned.

After watching this video, I think it can do what I want... (?). I want to run my outdoor speakers wired to this amp and control outside with my phone... and also send preamp out from this to my surround receiver as another source to provide streaming services to my inside the house system.

It's a good idea to by a cooling fan with a built in thermostat to set on top of this. She runs a bit hot.

Hi, I would appreciate an advice.
I'm planning to create an integrated system:
- as a principal ampli receiving input from cd and turntable, an audiolab 600A play, connected to passive indoor speaker
- secondary ampli the SVS prime wireless soundbase, controlling passive outdoor speaker.
I would like to have the possibility to listen to the same music both indoor and outdoor.
Do you think it can work as a multiroom system using DTS play fi? or should I connect the principal ampli to the secondary using the pre out?

I’ve used up all of my outputs on my AVRx2200w on my Denon, bi-amp, Atmos, etc. .

Would this work for me in regards to rear or Atmos rear.

I purchased all of my goods on Crutchfield back in September 2016.

I’m trying to get my brain to marinate on this.

Thanks in the meantime‼️

If you have a portable DAC such as a Fiio M15, can you play your Hi-res audio files through the SoundBase via either blue tooth or wifi independent of DTS?

Where do you control the Bass & Treble from?

Does anyone make one of these where you can switch from zone A / zone B from the remote? In other words, I want to use one to power 2 sets of speakers and have the option to play either one set or both sets at a time without having to go to the unit to switch between them.

Second question, If I already have a receiver with Heos, should I just stick with a heos unit or can this integrate with my Denon? I don't want to have a ton of apps to deal with.
