These babies are packed with great tech including like DTS Playfi a very powerful 50 watts/4 Class D bi-amplification and some slick smart features. For those wanting to convert passive speakers to wireless, they also offer a separate, very robust 2CH amplifier module called the Soundbase. Bought an SVS Soundbase Amplifier and love it! But I don't use any of its wireless features. I use it as a small form factor power amplifier connected to an Alexa dot as the source/preamp. The sound base is powering Emotiva B1+ speakers with an Emotiva S8 subwoofer. It has plenty of clean power. My only wish is that I wish it had bass management to split and vary the frequencies between the powered L+R speaker and the sub RCA out as this amp can quickly overpower small bookshelves when sending low frequencies at high power levels.

Both need Airplay 2 capability, period. No excuses anymore. If it’s too expensive, 🍎 needs to lighten up. Honestly, I’d like to know what Apple charges. It can’t be too much, because $300 AV receivers incorporate it.

I hate being locked into using some 3rd party app. I just really hate it. I’d like to be able to just switch connection from headphone to system on the fly.

Hey throw down some knowledge on HDR and whatnot for blu rays, I'm kinda confused what's what these days. (I'm Shopping for a new player) So like is the content backwards compatible? If my source is HDR, is it going to make it thought my equipment chain? what format, codex, or what not will have that lane open, is UltraHD bluray the answer? and what about my computer hdmi dongles with netflix and itunes. Do streamers even stream HDR? do BLURays even have HDR? Over air TV3.0? or is GreenRay :P going to replace bluray before any of them do. If my source is HDR and my TV is HDR and my amplifier isn't, will the HDR signal make it through? do I need HDMI 6.0 or some sorta jazz? What is the state of HDR, and bonus points if you also answer all these questions for 120hz content too, is it my birthday after all :P or at least it is soon. ha ha

I wish these guys would go over all the details about dts:x My self and my friends have been trying to figure out if it a actually does anything because neither of us can hear anything special on all of our home theater systems testing it out with multiple dts:x movies. We have 7.1 setups

It's still costly. Maybe we need a wireless STD which is universal. That will bring cost down. Instead of using frequencies why these companies use try led laser light source which is much more noise proof way to drive speakers using quantum. We rvtrying that
