It’s so sad to see that she never got adopted. I would’ve right off the bat tear up that paperwork and say no I’m not take me to where your orphanage is and I’m getting you out of there. You’re coming home mom and then explain to her why she was there in the first place

Same happened to me. My bio mother was in love with my father who was abusing me. She tried to stay away but would always go back to him. I was taken away when I was 4 1/2 years old, my mom lost my sister and I off and on until I was 9 and she was 4.
My mother signed away her rights when I was 9 promising me that she wanted me to have a better home. I was in 16 different foster homes. Abused by more than half. I was finally adopted at 14 by the worst woman ever. She beat me so bad, her bio son who was much older was afraid she would kill me. They threatened her with going to the cops if she didn't sign me up for Job Corps. I signed up on my 16th birthday. I was expedited in. Parted ways with the family. All but my brother and his wife who helped me. Unfortunately my brother passed away and his wife moved. Been without any family since.

She lost her right the minute she decided to give her up her daughter. Saddens the daughter wasn’t adopted and still in foster care. Now, needs her parents permission to be emancipated from foster care.
