Fun fact: did you know that Famous Pepsi Concorde couldn’t fly at Mach 2 for more than 20 minutes? This is because the blue paint didn’t absorb as much heat created by the engines when it accelerated as the white pain color. If they went for more than 20 minutes it would have damaged the airframe!

Edit: (credit: @Foxtrot Sierra) He brought up a very valid point that the plane also created skin friction which would contribute to damaging of the airframe

Edit 2: Alright y'all the paint wasn't just white, it was a highly reflective white paint. I forgot my bad. And the plane is heated due to the high pressure point being exerted on the front of the plane.

You should really try the F-15 with that. It has a greater acceleration than the F-22 and has a greater than one thrust to weight ratio meaning it is incredibly fast.

Designed as a jet bomber, to deliver nukes, it held the transcontinental record for 28 years.
