In my opinion, the best episode in season 2 and in general one of the best. Thanks to the insanely OST used here among others.

This entire fight was such a good way to place Sukuna in a great light of pure destruction. It shows just how destructive Sukuna was willing to go, just how ruthless he can be with human lives. He didn’t give a shit about who he had to kill, as long as he got his fill of a good fight with one of the strongest beings in existence. The choreography, voice acting and beautiful animation really made this fight one of the peaks of current anime Jujutsu Kaisen.

this episode is genuinely my favorite anime episode of all time. not because of what happens in it, but also because of the story behind how it came to be. this episode had basically all the industry talent on it, and 2 of the best anime action directors ever. the way this episode, even in its extremely unfinished state when it first aired, still had animation-defining cuts. this episode also had the BIGGEST blu-ray changes of all time. the blu-ray changes cemented this episode as my favorite. can't forget about the masterful OST. genuinely a historical episode.
