Also, room 873 at the Banff Springs Hotel is so haunted that they had to seal the room. If you are fortunate enough to get the chance to rent either room 871 or 875, you sometimes can listen to what sounds like a barroom brawl with furniture being tossed around via their shared wall with 873. Sometimes with crying and/or screaming.
The weirdest thing is walking down the hall of this floor and it's room, room, room, and then on one side is a odd long stretch of wall. If you look close enough you can see where the entrance was as the base of doorjam remains in place. So weird.

35 years ago, Poveglia was a regular destination for kayak excursions with my friends. We explored many times the abandoned buildings, but the scariest things (besides possible collapses) were the dogs we heard barking somewhere. The paranormal craze started only recently, I don't know why.

She went and picked oleander leaves and crushed them and baked them into a birthday cake and icing for his young daughter. The children and his wife ate the cake and died.
