its black sea folk, black sea people are very energetic, vibrant so their folk is like this too. but when we look at the aegea region, they do zeybek (and you know its slower) if we look the east they do halay, and its looks like horon but i think there is less moves and they dance is slower. but Turkey is a very big country with lots of folks and diffirent cultures. And normal people (not new generation maybe) generally knows this dances and folks because this dances are always be in the weddings.turkish people always dances when there is wedding.

it is an old folk dance which name is "Sallama" belongs to Akçaabat (discrict of Trabzon). There is also spesific horon types playing in North-East Blacksea coastal regin of Turkey. Sürmene Bıçak oyunu, Hemşin horonu etc.

These Turks are great at partying and dancing, and they know a lot about fishing. They are always very friendly, you should never tease them, it can end very badly.
