As someone who has lived and travelled in North and South ....South's street food has a wide range from veg to non veg however North's street food is only veg chaat and 1 or 2 kebab shops. So South for the win. Northeast is a different beast altogether.

As a person from the North Side, can agree that the variety of snack items in the south are more than the north of India. That way one can say South smashes North. North side on the other hand has many kind of main course dishes (for lunch and dinner in particular) that we all eat in the household. We are not counting Hyderabad here. That’s the best place in India in my opinion for best mutton and chicken and biryani!!

This is one of my most favorite videos of yours, Sonny! I grew up on a healthy blend of Americana food (my parents) to the incredible tastes of India (my best friends parents and my second home) and Mexican cuisine (because of my hometown dishes - Cathedral City, Ca). This video makes my heart swell with love. I hope someday to take my son to India and introduce him to a gorgeous culture and delicious food.
