Being young is wonderful. Being middle aged is great. And being older is fabulous. It’s all cool!

I don’t think I am superior because I’m older. But I also don’t think I’m less important because I’m older.

Ageism isn’t reserved for older people. I experienced it when I was in my 20s and was thought “not old enough” for this or that.

I usually was thought to be older than my age so I kept quiet about it in professional environments.

When I turned 30 I felt like shouting it out to the world. I was finally a proper adult! But there was no internet. So I wrote a book. 😂

Anyhow. If we don’t want younger people to be ageist towards us maybe we should stop being ageist towards them! It does go both ways.

Even older women than me are ageist towards me! Like “wait ‘till you get to my age.”

I say let me enjoy my age and I will let you be yours. 🤪
