I think we need to change the oath of office for police to include the phrase like what they do for doctors where it states first do no harm. They are held to such a low standard anymore that we need to change their requirements. I also think the oath should be plastered all over the walls of every police station. I think they should get periodic reminders of their oath And sort of disguise, the subject line so they don’t ignore it and have to open it so the oath is in front of them all the time. It should be on their forms, it should be on their computer screens, it should be in their email signature block. It should be in front of them at all times.
