COLOMBIAN SPEAKS HUNGARIAN | Tips on How to Learn Hungarian (EN-HU subs)

It's my pleasure to introduce you my good friend Carlos, who is a language lover just like me. The first time we met I was amazed at how well he spoke Hungarian. It is rare to see someone who has learned Hungarian to such a high level. I am sure everyone can learn something from him.

I never understood why people claim that the Hungarian language is impossible.
It functions logically. “Different” does not mean necessarily “impossible” or “extremely difficult”. People just don’t take the time to study. They may think that Hungarian is not a useful language, that’s why they prefer English. Even in my country foreigners do not really try to learn the language. They just say “it is so damn hard” and they speak to us in English.

By the way, the man slays big time. It is all about dedication. 🙋‍♂️🙋‍♂️🙋‍♂️

Ez odáig fantasztikus javaslat csak, amíg az ember nem él valamilyen kommunikációs fejlődési zavarral, pl. aspergeres vagy hasonló. És akinél pont a szóbeli kommunikáció megy kevésbé, az írásbeli jobban, annak ez nem igazi megoldás. Na mindegy, ezt csak úgy zárójelben jegyeztem meg. És sajnos az emberek többsége a nyelvtudást nem az írásbeli készségeken keresztül határozza meg. Lásd az alapvető kérdést ezzel kapcsolatban: Milyen nyelveket BESZÉLSZ? Magyarul nem számít, megérted-e az idegen nyelven írt szöveget, tudsz-e fogalmazni az adott nyelven, tudod-e magyarról vagy magyarra fordítani stb..

As an English speaker trying to learn Hungarian, the problem I have when I try to speak Hungarian to Hungarians is that the Hungarians think it is a good opportunity to practice their English!

Carlos dijo algo importante que para mi, ha sido dificl de encontrar en Hungria P A C I E N C I A. Me encanta ver mas y mas gente sonriendo en este Pais y poco a poco conozco mas y mas gente con una actitud positiva y aceptando nuevas culturas inetegrarse.
