right, i already know how to test. Nothing else? What should happen to notice weakness or something like that?

I think during the push up test the elbow is NOT suppose to flex ..no?

With a normal Push up ( against the wall or horizontally) the patient can compensate still with the mm Pectoralis. One Handed it will be harder because of the horizontal adduktion force of the pectoralis. One can test both sides to see the difference. The Weakness of the m . Serratus is more functionally testet with force against flexion elevation as the serratus is responsible vor the laterorotation of the Scapula. The patient can ony partially compensate this with the Trapezius Descendens but one should see this by the winging of the scapula and the too much elevation of the shoulder girdle. I now have a patient that has a weakness after COVid booster shot. Is there any proof that training helps for his natural healing proces?.

How to tell if I've torn mine? Sharp severe pain when breathing around shoulder blade. Deep inside chest. After military press. I've got better now only hurts tiny tiny bit after a 9 month rest? What can I do? Should I strengthen something?

My problem is that my shoulder sags forward from an injury. When I bring my shoulder back and up into place, the scapula wings out. So when I do this test, the act of getting into a push up position will wing the scapula out because my shoulder goes back. But if I push all the way through so my shoulder ends up forward, then the scapula will stop winging. I don't know if this muscle is weak or not.

I cannot sleep straight on my back or I wake up with pain on my sides..
Also if I do karate punches one shoulder blade looks different to the other. And the gap between the neck and shoulder are different sizes both sides and front up under colorbone underneath the shoulders hurts sometimes

Please help with rough idea anybody.
Or direction.
