The Akai MPD218 is a portable USB MIDI controller for recording MIDI drums played with the fingers. The Akai MPD218 has 6 control knobs that can be used as a control surface for a DAW, and 16 velocity-sensitive finger drum pads. That was a ton of information however, can you explain how to change the sounds of the pads? The factory setup is not in my opinion user friendly for a drummer. I can’t find anywhere how to change pad 1 to a kick, pad 2 to a snare etc.

The explanation was clear and percised, however, the keys on the bottom were not seen while talking through it and you did not show the Vertical 6 Knobs or its Functions.
