And maybe don’t eat AS MUCH. We all don’t work on farms or do heavy physical labor anymore, therefore, we don’t burn as many calories, in turn we don’t need to take in as many calories.

Definitely cook and eat at home. 👍 Honestly, how many of us know for a fact that employees wash their hands at restaurants or fast food joints?

The library often has more than just books, look for movies and music, as well as apps that your library partners with that your library card gives you access to. You can access ebooks, audio books, shows, movies, music, and educational content with the library apps, all from home.

An ex gf who is LDS wold skip 2 days a week meals i told her it wasnt good to do that. What she would do is like monday eat breakfast but no lunch but ate supper. Then Tues no breakfast ate lunch n supper. Wed ate breakfast n lunch but no supper. Thurs start over then Sunday she would eat 3 meals. She said that way she safely n healthily ate but by skipping like that freed up 2 days food. More food for others cheaper and then she would donate those 2 days food to charity. Either the cans themselves or put the money in ajar then donate to like Heifer Intl when they'd have a match your donation .

Save bones to make soup. Ham bone, turkey, chicken etc., Beef necks are wonderful. Use a crock pot, add bay leaves, chopped onions, and chopped celery.😋 finger licking good.

I already do just about everything on this list with the exception of about three. Cut open plastic containers you get from the store and scrape out the inside. I have gotten a much as a cup of lotion by doing this. Make your own laundry (or use an ecoegg) and all purpose cleaners. I drink water with fresh squeezed lemon every morning but I keep the lemons. After about a week and a half I put them on the stove in water and simmer. This is a great way to give your house a fresh citrus scent without using air freshener. I also do this with orange and grapefruit peels.

Unplug items you don't use, freeze extra food, or better yet, home can!! These tips/hints seem just common sense; then again, I heard that common sense is not as common as it used to be!!

Don’t use as much toothpaste as they do in those clips telling you to use every bit of product. It is equally money saving to use the right amount of product.

not very groundbreaking tips, but a nice overview to start. Here some other tips:
1. Use scraps in the kitchen such as onion peels for broth. Put these scraps in a separate bag and freeze it until you have enough, then throw it into the pot for a broth.
2. dont use so much laundry detergent, unless the clothes are actually dirty from labour outside (mud, oil, etc). Most of us do not work in heavily dirty environments anymore and the smell does not stay on the clothes for long anyway.
3. Get vinegar and make your own cleaning supplies. Check first the surfaces though if they can habdle vinegar solutions to avoid ruining them.
4. Keep kitchen scraps from raw fruits and vegetables and put them into a Bokashi bin or on the compost to close the circle and making your own nutritious soil. I live in a capital city and do that all the time, works excellently to use 100% of your purchases and to save money on nutritious soil.
5. Make your own laundry detergent, there are numerous videos on that on yt.
6. Make sure the washing machine is actually full.
7. Invest in good cleaning supplies that can be easily washed/cleaned and that make your life easier without needing any extra soap or the like.
8. Cook in bulk and freeze the leftovers for lazy nights (does not work with every dish though). Maybe invest in a separate freezer, it will pay itself back in no time.
