I have come back to my home country and will retire in the northern regions of the plains, well up against the mountains. I watched this movie when it first came out and still love it to this day. I still get sad when the wolf gets killed and still makes me choke up.

Watched the film many times.
K. Costner and J. Barry have aced it with this combined masterpiece of storytelling.
The black screen at the end, and the words that appear always hits me hard!

Amazing soundtrack, I listen to it often, I play the John Dunbar theme on Chromatic harmonica..it's incredible..takes me back to my time spent out West. All over CO, WY, MT, ID. Never forget the scenery.
