The great thing about Delta is you will be able to fly without ID. The CEO has determined that requiring IDs are racist.

Ryanair isn't the sole customer of the 737-8200 Max. Vietnamese carrier VietJet has around 120 on order. Speaking of Vietnam, they have recently recertified the Max for access into their airspace - if that wasn't covered here already.

Spent two weeks in Iceland a few years ago. Well worth it!

EASA just recently certified 737 Max 8-200 so *now* deliveries can begin. Ryanair does however still need the UK CAA’s approval for UK flights whether into the country or from out at the base in Stansted

I’m glad that other carriers call it the 737 MAX. I don’t understand why Ryanair calls it the 737 8-200..

OMG, every time you mention the Max aircraft, you rehash the crashes over and over again. We all know what happened, give it a rest. Good thing Airbus never has any problems, cause you would probably mention it once and then ignore it.

Curious to see if Norwegian and Norse Atlantic code share.

Finally some good aviation news, being from Iceland we welcome all vaccinated tourists, the only additional requirement is PRC test at arrival, free of charge, just to make sure.

What month of 2017 did Delta Air Lines pick up the first A350?

Many airlines are becoming more and more ambitious these days even during the pandemic!

I think Norse has a better chance than Norwegian did. When Norwegian started operations they were plagued first by the 787 wing cracks, then came the Rolls Royce engine nightmares that lasted basically from start to finish. Other airlines were able to park the 787's while engines were replaced as they had other long haul aircraft to operate routes. Norwegian did not have any other aircraft and therefore had to constantly charter aircrafts from other companies in order to continue to move passengers. Although some are saying Norse is a scam as it's the same as what Norwegian used to be, I think it will be more of what Norwegian should have been. Regardless of them following the same business model (since its coming from the original founder of Norwegian), they will not have the same issues (like the engine problems) which was one of the main reasons for the demise. The low cost Long haul model Norwegian was operating could have been a success had it not been for all the 787 issues.

I’d never fly delta again after my string of bad experiences with them and the fact that they’ve been incredibly unreliable for 3 holidays in a row

Boeing is in no way at fault for Peter Defazio's requests.
