If you dig the inside edge of your bottom ski into the slope and put the bottom one on first you can easily put the top ski back on without having to do the whole turning around thing

Position your skis.
Stand below them.
Put on the downhill ski first while preventing slipping with your uphill leg.
Put on up hill ski.

Never had that problem, just put the stick or whatever you call it in English next to the ski so it doesn't slide
