Got brought back down to earth. Probably a good thing tbh. Everybody needs a reminder every now & then that they're not immortal. He'll probably grind hard to make sure that never happens again. It happens. Pick yourself back up kid. It's far from over.

This really highlights the one aspect of the game which people specially analysts and commentators really tend to miss- that there are all kinds of micro mechanics style in this game. That no natter how mechanically dominant you are, theres a method to kill you 1 v 1. People learn and adapt. They change given enough time. Figuring out the counter against a working op mechanics and style employed takes time but people will counter it sooner or later. Doesn’t destroy ones dominance if the player keeps adapting as well tho.

So its not as much abt donk not being able to perform, its about others learning how to beat him and putting extra effort into it. If donk is able to change just so slightly in some way, he can easily come back to his dominant position. Analysts and commentators really need to dive deep into the why and how of things happening in this game. They cant just say not performing/brilliant performance. They need to expand on it. Or else anyone else can do what theyre doing with a week of training. Show some technicality and speciality in the job. Atleast more than how much is being shown rn. Thats def not enough.
