Bypassing Windows Product Activation - Windows XP

How to easily bypass the Windows Product Activation on Windows XP. This is for those that for example need to backup their files and the cannot activate for whatever reason.
It's funny how easy it is and it's rather unbelievable how Microsoft didn't realise that the product activation can be bypassed this way.

Thats no bypassing, thats going arround the key, but you still have to do a lot of work to go arround on every startup right!?

For whatever reason the rundll32.exe syssetup, SetupOobe.Bnk stopped working after second time using it.
Windows + u is only thing that keeps me from having to reinstall XP perpetually. Thanks for the information!

will this work on a reinstall? i have a dell 3000 desktop. i bought it
in 2005. i had to get a computer store to clear it two years ago and
they put on their own version of xp on it (rebuild / re install). all
fine, working very well until the other week, after a full system virus
scan, 3 items found, i put into virus chest - next day i open up PC and
it wont open - tells me to windows needs to be activated. so i bought it
into computer store and he is doing his head in to try open it, ie, he
cant open it...( i am typing this on a new laptop i bought a few weeks
ago with the hateful windows 10 on it. i have spent many hours tweeking
all it intrusive privacy nonsense) Anyways, i just want to open up my
old dell PC windows xp. Will you method work for me? Thank you so much,

you don't need to type c:\windows\explorer.exe just type c: and done
