When u are measuring a person’s height use only wall mounted stadiometers the hospitals and health clinics have very expensive stadiometers that are made from metal and its digital giving u the most accurate results possible. Portable height rods have a platform to stand on and also they are on the far cheaper side made with cheap plastic and the calculations are off by 3 inches. Wall mounted stadiometers are best to use because it is the correct way to measure a person’s height u install it exactly a foot from the floor so it can give accurate results but sum stadiometers depending on the company it’s manufactured from can be inaccurate that’s why it’s very important just to go to your doctor to have them measure u. From the ground to the top of the head is how your supposed to measure. Not standing on a platform like with cheap plastic inaccurate portable height rods. Do not buy portable height rods u will waste your money. Wall mounted is best.

It's never accurate don't buy this
I was officially 6'4" by hospital but when I measured with this, it reduced 3 inches

its wrong because when you see the person installing it from the ground to up you can see the meter is showing 200 cm slightly above the ground this is installation error there is a minimum 1.5 inches gap

It is not accurate....(Fixation error is huge) With tape(hospital) measurement I'm 177 but In Stadio meter 173 (I'm tested several times using both methods)... wall type Stadio meter installation is fully risky and it will reduce hright
