Russia Launches Airstrikes Against Poltava and Lviv in Ukraine #war

Ukraine said Russia launched a combined aerial strike at Lviv, in a rare attack on the western city, killing five people including a junior and injuring at least 35, mayor Andriy Sadovyi said on Wednesday. The strikes comes a day after fifty-one people died and more than 200 were injured in an attack in Poltava early Tuesday. Bloomberg's Tony Halpin reports.

The hypocrisy of the US is classical. Russia has so far done its utmost to avoid civilian casualties, civilian infrastructure etc and has been limiting its targets to the military. Had it been the US instead of Russia they would have bombed the shit out of every inch of the country. For example, Russia avoided bombing the railway even if that's the main route for the inflow of weapons. They did that not to hinder the evacuation of the civilian population. Had they targeted the railway from the first day the civilian suffering would have been staggering. I am fed up of the West's double standards. Why don't you speak about the genocide in Gaza instead? Gaza is nothing but rubble now... Lviv should have been a primary target. It is the hornet's nest where the Nazis are bred...
P.S. when you speak about hitting Lviv, why don't you specify exactly what they hit, huh? Evidently, it is more convenient for you not to mention it and leave it hanging in the air just to spread the notion that the civilians are the ones targeted... Russia has all the right to target every single military base, training site, weapon storage facilities etc not only in Ukraine, but also in any neighbouring country that is supporting Ukraine's war effort. And the way you present Putin to be the ultimate villain, the Russian Hitler, is really obnoxious. In fact, you are able to talk bullshit because he is very patient, cautious and moderate. Do you think if he is removed it will be better for the West? Wrong! Zelensky didn’t try to prevent the conflict through diplomacy because he lacks honour and integrity. In 2014 there was a coup soon after, where there was massacre in Odessa (dozens of people were burned alive). Ethnic Russians living in Ukraine were treated as subhuman. Their language and culture were being oppressed. A civil war broke out due to the rise in ethnic tensions. For 8 years the Ukrainian military was indiscriminately shelling civilians living in Donbas. If Zelensky honoured the Minsk agreement and pledged neutrality, none of this would have happened.
