Kyiv hit by barrage of Russian missile and drone attacks

Russia carried out missile and drone attacks on Ukraine’s capital, Kyiv, early on Monday. Ukrainian forces destroyed 22 out of 35 missiles and 20 out of 23 attack drones launched by Russia on Monday morning, the city's military administration said.

Neighbouring Nato member Poland activated Polish and allied aircraft during the attacks
