You've probably heard at least a thing or two about President Lyndon Johnson (Lyndon Baines Johnson, to be more precise) and his "Great Society" vision for the United States.
Lyndon Johnson's Great Society represents one of the most controversial topics when it comes to not just economics but politics as well.
Many on the left see the Great Society as a significant victory, whereas many on the right consider Lyndon Johnson's initiative a big failure.
Who is right?
Well, as always, the truth is probably somewhere in the middle.
Through this one minute animation, you'll find out what Lyndon Johnson's Great Society was all about, what the goals of the Great Society were, which programs were created to reach those goals and, finally, what the effects of those programs were.
Whenever we're dealing with the Great Society or other topics which revolve around the role the state should play in our lives, controversy feels right at home.
Letting political beliefs aside and limiting ourselves to analyzing the facts associated with Lyndon Johnson's Great Society is, in my opinion, a must.
