Finally! You NEED to react to more of them. They are so good. "We Got The Moves", "Pump It", "Tekkno Train", and "Hypa Hypa". Electric Callboy is amazing. One of the biggest bands right now.

Knox, this is a rabbit hole you absolutely have to go down!!! Electric Callboy is the it band for the last few years. They been around since 2010, but Nico, the guy doing the clean vocals replaced their old singer a few years ago and they have BLOWN UP ever since. You will not be disappointed with them!!!

Electric Callboy are the undisputed kings of partycore at the moment. No one else does it quite like them, and they've been on a straight roll for the last few years, starting with Hypa Hypa. We're pretty sure Kevin (the heavy vocalist) and Nico (the clean vocalist) aren't actually madly in love, but honestly, no one would be surprised. The bromance vibes are strong with those two.

Bit of nerdery on the whole "core" thing. Near as I can tell, the original use of core came from hardcore, a subset of punk rock that leaned into the harsher sounds found in metal. That led to metalcore, which started off as a blend of hardcore punk and metal. Modern metalcore doesn't sound much like punk these days, and the genre as a whole has kind of been doing its own thing since the mid 00s. Deathcore, a blend of hardcore punk and death metal, has followed a similar trajectory. The use of core as a suffix has branched off into its own thing too, usually meaning that something is a blend of metal and whatever else. So, partycore, dancecore, and electronicore are all considered metal rather than punk derivatives, melding the sensibilities of various flavors of EDM and metal. Technically speaking, Electric Callboy is more metalcore, but their new vibe over the last few years has really leaned into the good times party metal scene.

No one ever mentions the handshake sound. People always seem to miss that part of the joke.

I stumble across this yesterday. I have been smiling ever since. I've never heard of them nor the song it is a cover of for that matter. But this wonderful video and bromance shines. Apparently Electric Callboys are known for some of their silly antics. I definitely have to check some other out.

THIS is Electric Callboy.
Beautiful melodies and dancing moments. Then punch you in the face riffs and breakdowns. Then right back to the pretty stuff. They're great! NEED ya to do "Pump It" and "We Got The Moves" by these guys!
So good.

Such a good group they’re so much fun every time they put out something I know I’m gonna be smiling. Honestly all the stuff they put out the last few years is worth listening to but “Hypa Hypa” “We Got the Moves” and “Tekkno Train” are really good representations of what this band is about

Awesome reaction Knox! You should definitely check out more Electric Callboy "Tekkno Train", "Hypa Hypa" and "Spaceman" should be high up the list but cant really go wrong with them as they have brought out so many bangers. Also an epic live band.

So the lead singer (Niko Sallach) and the harsh vocalist (Kevin Ratajczak) have a prominent bromance. They aren’t gay lovers but they’re very comfortable with each other and they aren’t afraid to show it. This song is basically all about their bromance hahahaha.

You are allowed to laugh about their videos. They are doing an awesome job showing that metal and humor can go together. I hope you'll check out more by them.

this song is not original from Cascada, it is original from Maggie Reilly in 1992.

After Reilly had enjoyed Europe-wide success between 1982 and 1984 with songs such as Moonlight Shadow and To France, she launched a solo career in 1991. In March 1992, the single Everytime We Touch was released from the album Echoes. Reilly had written the song together with Stuart Mackillop and Peter Risavy. Armand Volker and Stefan Zauner were at her side as producers. The market-leading record label Electrola licensed and released the song.
Everytime We Touch reached number 16 in the hit parade in Germany and spent 25 weeks in the charts. In the German airplay charts, the song managed to stay at the top of the charts for one week. In Austria, the song reached number 1.

In Austria, Everytime We Touch reached number five and placed in the Top 10 for eight weeks and in the charts for 16 weeks. In the Swiss charts, the single reached its highest charting position of number 24 in twelve chart weeks. In 1992, Everytime We Touch placed at number 55 in the German singles chart and at number 27 in Austria.

In 2005, the German dance project Cascada covered the song in hands-up style. The song was released on August 16, 2005 as a download and as a CD single. A year later, the song appeared on the studio album of the same name Everytime We Touch.

Behind the production of the cover are the two German DJs Manuel Reuter and Yann Pfeifer, who form the trio Cascada with Natalie Horler. Horler is the sole vocalist on the new recording. The single was released through the music labels Robbins Entertainment and Zooland Records.

In particular, the version of Cascada experienced in the following years numerous new remix versions in a variety of styles, some of which were released a separate on streaming and download portals. Among them are new interpretations of, among others, Fallen Superheroes in hardstyle, B3nte in Melbourne bounce or Hardwell and Maurice West in hands-up style, which were partly heard millions of times.

The video was uploaded to the official YouTube channel of the music label All Around the World in March 2007. It was filmed at the Public Library in New York City. The video has received over 105 million views in eleven years.
Cascada's version of Everytime We Touch reached number five on the German singles chart, spending four weeks in the Top 10 and 19 weeks in the Top 100, marking Cascada's first time reaching the charts in Germany. In Austria, the single reached its highest charting position at number 13 in 21 chart weeks. In the Swiss charts, Cascada also reached the charts for the first time with Everytime We Touch, with the single reaching its best ranking at number 22 in 24 chart weeks. In the United Kingdom, the single reached number two. Everytime We Touch also became the first chart hit in the UK charts, placing in the top 10 for six weeks and charting for 42 weeks.

In the United States, the single reached number ten and placed in the Top 10 for one week and in the charts for 31 weeks. This is also the first chart hit for Cascada. It was the first top 10 success for a German artist in the Billboard Hot 100 since Heaven by Yanou in 2002, as well as the first chart success in a year and a half.

In 2006, Everytime We Touch ranked 15th on the UK singles chart and 31st in the United States. In 2007, the song ranked 52nd on the German singles chart and 86th in Switzerland.

best regards from Germany, have fun with Electric Callboy
