Use the impact and make the chips into one solid plate or block of fried thin potato and put it into a bag, the impact will break it into manageable pieces. For corn chips make disks from the fried tortilla with a thin bar between each disk with a bowl underneath, the impact will break the chips from the bar leaving perfectly sized chips in a bowl.

I think I might use this idea for my wasteland D&D game. The rich people live in space and I think the idea that all of the commoner food gets ejected into the middle of nowhere because they have no clue where the poor live would be really cool.

My headcanon is the voice is broadcasted in real time, and the speaker went for a more childish script today for that extra morale boost
The juxtaposition between baby talk and soulless voice is great for some gallows humor

Love this. Unironically, this is basically how the US military operates. One Japanese commander during WWII realized they could never win bc the US Navy literally had two ships dedicated to making ice cream

Instead of making a new type of chip you could just have the chips in a tube that spins on the inside of the capsule creating enough force that the chips don’t break

I have made 3 ideas on how this gets into helldivers.

1. put in a secret code and it deploys and you can eat there, no practical effect.

2. When eating it gives a temporary buff like 20% extra stamina, stims last 10% longer etc.

3. You can customize the foods dropped so it gives different buffs to each player but some foods take longer to eat (cupcake vs steak) with new foods being behind research points.

I like to think the old supply ship that still floats in the sky just has a scanner for human life and deploys this as close to them as possible so long as not near old major cities. And it never runs out because the fully automatic and self sufficient resupply stations is still in operation
