I remember seeing someone who makes comics or something say that when struggling to draw a background just build it in minecraft and take a picture or use it as reference and draw your characters in there

Wide angle perspective is still very useful when you want to show as much of a big scene as possible (especially interiors)

I actually like this because it can make the pov feel more immersed into the scene
Like youre really close to the subject/object that you can almost touch whatever or whoever is in the illust
It's why I'm trying to learn and practice proximity foreshortening!

This is so thing that I noticed when I draw using perspective points

Soooo yeah I’m kinda prefer for the vanishing point to be off the canvas most of the time

the rule (im guessing) is to use about 130 degrees or 75% of the full range of both vanishing points to avoid creating a fish eye effect
