As a long time gaming consumer, I will say this:
Sony has been like this since the beginning of their PS4 dominance.
The casual gaming audience never questioned or criticized them, they just consumed consumed and consumed some more. Sony has an ego larger than Apple right now. They believe they can do whatever they want and it will make bank immediately. It’s why the decisions with Helldivers 2 and Ghost of Tsushima PC Port should backfire. Just like FF7 Rebirth isn’t selling as high as FF7 Remake.
Also: Sony, that decision to limited the physical copies of the deluxe editions was a low blow move.

I guarantee you they’re preparing to make us all use a launcher for all future PlayStation games on PC, with a PSN account. Whether we like it or not. Whenever it happens, that’s the day I stop playing Helldivers. I’m dedicated to never buying any Sony product again with how anti consumer they are. I’ve been busy and didn’t have time to change my review during the first few days of the controversy, but my review is going to be negative until there’s 100 percent confirmation they back down on this bullshit.
