People really saying Goku is a better father when Goku literally tried to convince Vegeta to leave knowing Bulma is about to deliver a baby. He told Vegeta that he wasn't even there when his child was born. That it didn't matter since it's Bulma who's giving birth and not Vegeta. He put 12 universes (including where his family is ) in danger just so he could fight strong opponents. Yes, Vegeta used to not care about Trunks and Bulma, but in DBS, you will see how huge his character development is. He even fought a God when Bulma got slapped. ( Goku sacrificed himself for his kids) , news flash, Vegeta did too. Vegeta is more of a family guy than Goku. And it was emphasized in DBS. He just gives "tough love" but he showed sincere care for his family.
