Back in 1985 my Father and a few friends owned a Classic Auto Business and his personal cars that he got was a 1951 MG TD, a 1965 Convertible Corvair, and a 1961 Jaguar E Type! That was my favorite! A beautiful dark green and brown (tan) seats! I was old enough to drive but the front end was so long it made the petals so far from the seats, I couldn't reach them! Not fair! But I did love that car!

My 67 XKE was the only version with 3 carbs and zero emissions so it was the most HP version. It wasn’t bad at all. Pretty stout. A blast to drive

My Old Boss in my youth had the same Jag, year and all. Hard top Convertable.
If you slammed it in 2nd-3rd gear it would literally lift the front end off the ground.
I drive a vette myself these days...

The only better car is the e type is the coupe instead of convertible. The E Type is a piece of art not just a car.
