To mark the sad occasion of the funeral of Dame Vera Lynn this week, a special video was created showing the lyrics to her most famous song, We’ll Meet Again, and was projected onto the White Cliffs of Dover, the landmark most famously associated with her.

I'm so grateful to have found this song, I found that it mostly signifies the loss of a loved one, whether it be a close friend or a family member or a partner. it sugarcoats it so nicely and makes it sound so soothing and warm. I can hear my darling Grandma Sarah right now. She sang all the old songs to me and then to my daughter as a toddler. She’s been gone 33 years but how we all loved her.

My grandfather was in the army in WW2, he sadly passed on in 2017 and this song brings many sentimental value to me.
