The Hidden Stories of ‘Big Short’ Investors Who Made BILLIONS

The Big Short is by far the best cinematic depiction of the 2008 housing bubble. Breaking down the complexities of the financial products which fuelled the crisis, while also drawing us into the emotional journeys of the few who saw the disaster forming.

But for every Michael Burry or Steve Eisman story that the movie explored in great depth, there are so many other mind-blowing elements that only earned a mention in passing.

Such as the real reason Greg Lippmann was trying to sell Eisman on the mortgage bond bet and the true genius behind Charlie and Jamie, two outsiders who found a bet way bigger than even Burry himself.

So let me take you through some of the lesser known, but honestly more bewildering stories embedded in The Big Short, as well as where some of these people are now.
