Whether you’re running late or you can’t answer the questions - exam dreams are quite common, according to Colin Espie who is a professor of sleep medicine at the University of Oxford.

But, why do we get them?

Dreams about exams should help “reassure” us that learning is being done, according to Prof Espie.

“It's on your mind during the day, and it shouldn't surprise us that it's on our mind during the night,” he added.
