How an EMP Attack Could Devastate America: A Frightening Reality

We’ve made a few videos on EMP attacks in the past, but we’ve never talked about them in depth. So we decided, maybe we should, right? But first, just a bit of background.

Back in 2011, Newt Gingrich stepped up and started sounding the alarm bells about EMPs. He talked about how it could be the mega-disaster that will destroy civilization as we know it. He claimed that while there are disasters we can bounce back from, this EMP thing could send us all back to the Stone Age, fighting over the last can of beans.

Initially dismissed as sensationalism, his predictions are now taken seriously by governments and civilians alike.

Join us as we explore the history, the growing awareness, and the measures being put in place to tackle EMP challenges.

If you think we were hit with an emp weapon, wait a few days before digging your stuff out of the faraday cage. They’re likely to pop a second one to get the backups that are pulled out.

The Amish will pull through an EMP event with flying colors easily.

People don’t understand how bad it will be for a nation wide grid down. But EMP is a totally different monster.

The lawlessness that we’re experiencing today would increase immediately. God help us 😢

If everything wasn't linked up to computers we wouldn't have quite as much to worry about. Build Faraday Cages around all of the major power plants. Stop using chips in everything and go back to the basic engines. This world has become stupidly dependent on modern technology.

If they talk about it, that means it’s gonna happen.

EMP is the worst case scenario in my opinion. I highly recommend everyone go read One Second After, it's a fictional novel by William R. Forstchen based in Black Mountain South Carolina post EMP disaster. That book goes into some great details of the aftermath of an EMP in a much more real world application, touching on things most people don't think about such as life support systems, old folks homes etc that all rely on electricity. I'd challenge anyone to spend a weekend completely power free because unless you have an entire solar backup system inside a faraday cage the size of a shipping container, you're out of luck. Knowledge will become power, buy books to teach you everything from knot tying to animal cleaning and wound care.

I say stock up on the ammos. Test, clean and train your firearms monthly. ( Good news: Your guns and ammos do not get destroyed by the EMP)

Another reason to protest and have millions sign a petition against EV

Newt Gingrich wrote the Foreword to "One Second After"...a very sobering read as it relates to how the US has become reliant on modern technology and how it affects average people in NC.

Everybody thinks I"m nuts for trying to prepare for an EMP but with all the guns and ammo we have in this country and how reliant we are on electricity and computers and banks and the mother of them all, transportation of goods, I'm surprised Russia hasn't EMPed us already.

i keep a zipper shoulder bag with necessities as minimal as possible in case i gotta run..bandaids, hand sanitizer, kleenex, eye drops, actimenophen, nail clippers, gum, lifesavers, whole cloves[best antibacterial for mouth], q-tips, toothpicks, sm. tube antibiotic ointment, purse size flash light, etc, couple of benadryl. gum is important for thirst when no water available.

Could you imagine being in a high-rise apt when these attacks happen?

It wouldn't necessarily send us back to the stone age, it WOULD put us back to 1880's technology.

The book ‘One Second After’ tells of a family and their community deal with an EMP. It’s a good read. I also enjoyed reading ‘Alas Babylon’ by Pat Franks. His story is about coping and surviving a nuclear exchange. It’s a great read.

The first piece of advice where he says to stop along the way to your home base and pick up additional supplies, is the dumbest thing I have ever heard. So you are going to weigh yourself down with more food and water while trying to make it back home during an EMP attack when everyone is going crazy and ransacking everything and taking from everyone, we all know how stupid and unprepared the American public can be.
