It feels so weird to read most of the comments here talking about this being their first sonic game eleven years ago when my first game WAS the first sonic game.

When i was a kid 11 years ago, I remember begging my sister to buy the game for me and she did buy it but bought it for the ds which still made me happy but I was sooo jealous of my best friend who had the game on his wii. Now here I am at 21 playing the console version of the game for the first time ever…on ps5! Never thought I’d see the day haha.

It was a genuine surprise to hear that the drill music was replaced with the Lost World versions, for both Underwater and in land. I prefered the original but the Lost World ones still aren't that bad. I can live with them i guess

I liked the original version more than the remastered. This version feels rushed as they didn't take the time to remaster the cutscenes. Plus, there were numerous effects that were missing and/or broken from the original. I noticed that the boss in Starlight carnival has some issues like the muzzle flash missing and the bullets being shot from above the turret. There could have been improvements if they had more time and effort. Yet it's still a great game. It brings back so many memories.

I’m not getting this game until either

A - they fix the bugs
B - they actually add extra content that doesn’t involve jade
C - they change some sound effects (like the color rings’ sound effect)
D - fix the lighting
