This took much more time that it should had, doing lipsync is a pain in the ass, the animations are sometimes broken, but anyways i managed to finish at least the half of the first cutscene :D

I appreciate that you went the extra mile to shift Sonic's mouth depending on where the camera is positoned. As goofy as it may sometimes look, it's a technique not a lot of other animators do and ends up looking weird.

wow, this is the first one I’ve seen that genuinely tries to improve the cutscene, and not just make it look as “realistic” as possible and try to flex on SEGA. This is gorgeous and well-animated, props to you!

I subbed to you cause I feel bad that you only have 62 subs and one animator to another especially since I'm learning 3D modeling myself. Artists just aren't always as appreciated.

I love this so much. Of course I like the original cutscenes, but I've always been more biased in the few but more gorgeous CGI cutscenes in the game. This remake is a lot like that, well done.

Sonic's mouth looks a bit weird but everything else looks so good! Especially the lighting and facial animations

This is the best remake I've seen by far. Very little jitter, the best lip-sync to actually match the English dialogue (seriously, the lack of change between languages in official releases makes the talking in cutscenes really awful to watch), and the eyebrow and eye movements, all really made this look great. This is the first time I've seen Tails speak in his modern design and not thought he looked dopey af. Seriously, the eye movements and proper mouth shapes did wonders for making me not hate that character model - great job!

Honestly the best remake of this cutscene I've seen so far. Detail is added in all the right places and the animations don't feel as jerky as other fan remakes. Only point of critique I'd give is perhaps it'd be worth tweaking how Sonic's quills move when he looks up or down. Things look particularly odd at 0:12 when it seems to me like his quills don't have as much mass as you'd expect them to.

We're getting closer and closer. It still could use some work but this is the first one I see that doesn't look like the blandest recreation of Unreal Engine with no noticeable light source.
At least here my man played a little bit with the lights and colors and didn't just leave it looking so plain and dull like everyone else does
