2.3 Identifying Functional Groups | Organic Chemistry

Chad provides an introduction to functional groups and provides examples of all the major organic functional groups including alkanes, alkenes, alkynes, alkyl halides, alcohols, ethers, amines, aldehydes, ketones, carboxylic acids, esters, amides, acyl halides, and aromatic compounds. He reveals the feature indicative of each functional group and explains how to identify all the major functional groups in organic chemistry. He further introduces the classifications of primary, secondary, and tertiary, and how they apply to carbon and hydrogen atoms as well as to alkyl halides, alcohols, and amines.

Hi Chad, at the 23 min mark you mention the thiol and sulfide groups and imply that you did include them but I don't see them anywhere in this video. Did you end up editing that section out?
