Just out of high school I went to work for a company introduced to me by a close friend who found them and offered me a secretarial position in the office of their new building, in Princeton, NJ. It was the beginning of my own education in the new field of exploration in our own Universe. Exciting? YES Our lobby was filled with pictures that were taken, good question of who, how, when, but never questioned by me; I was just there to take care of the secretarial things. My belief system was as a beginner and viewing only the facts and findings of those in my office. It was our job to explain and show pictures of what our "new" program in space was producing.

I worked for Applied Science Corp beginning in 1956 and left in 1960 because I moved to work in a different field for the State. My life since those days has taken many different turns because of personal involvements with marriage and divorce. Today I am a widow of a WWII Vet and stayed within my field to witness events watching what tv allows us to know of ventures in space projects, and places like the activities in Area 51, etc.. I have family who poo-poos the idea of any such thing as "aliens" so I keep most of that part of my life quiet. Why cast "pearls" to the unbeliever? I did have a brother-in-law who had a first hand experience and he had to stop telling anyone about it, until I came along. It gave him unimaginable relief to know that he really had not gone crazy. He was a Deputy Sheriff called to a crash site on his shift and actually boarded a short door to check on the condition of the occupants to see if the survivors needed medical aid. His description of the interior was my clue that he had no daydream; it was a real-life experience. We visited on the subject often.

Mars is fascinating, however, I wish the Government would apply all the millions of dollars spent on Mars to Earth, where it's needed.

#open discussion: That is not a painting. that is a picture of a herd of animals of sorts. Check the direction of the light and where the shadows fall. The whit is the animal...the black is the shadow. That's what I see when I paused and stared at it for at least 5 minutes. Life is on Mars!
