Your Loved Ones Never Left You | Barzakh | Other Side Ep.23 | Dr. Omar Suleiman | Ramadan Series

Your loved ones who died haven't left you. They've just moved on to the next station of life—and phone service isn't very good there. They're waiting to see you again, and as they wait, they rejoice in your visits to their graves. They celebrate when they hear of your 'ibadah and accomplishments in the dunya. And they are elated to receive the best gift of all that you can possibly give them: your du'a for them.

NOTE: All depictions of Barzakh are purely conceptual and only vocals were used in the making of the soundtrack.

My father died when I was a baby, and my mother remained with us, taking care of us and giving us everything that we asked for us until she died 4 years ago and I miss her a lot. I ask allah to make the grave of my father and my mother a garden from the garden of Paradise and to bless them with the highest paradise 🤲🏻. May allah have mercy on us and all the muslims around the world

I wanted to express my gratitude for this incredible series. It has been a source of comfort for me, particularly in light of the devastating events unfolding in Gaza. During this difficult time, the thought that the children and the martyrs in Gaza are now in a better place, content with what Allah has granted them, brings me a small sense of peace . Jazakum Allah Kola Khair for you works

I cried watching this. The person I loved died. All our hopes for the future, the children we would have, the lives we would live, shattered, taken away. I wish our relationship will continue, that we will see each other at the next station inshallah. What a beautiful way to put it. I pray Allah swt give comfort to anyone who has lost someone they love. May Allah grant us them rest, may Allah grant us peace in this life and peace in the next one

*How to stay connected to the dead?*

When you lose your loved ones, think of yourself merely at a station & your loved one has gone 1 station ahead. They just don’t have phone service so you cannot call them. But they are waiting for you in shaa Allah.

The dead know every single time when you visit them. The dead would be comforted by your presence & delighted by it. And even if you cannot visit, your du’as & your deeds for your loved ones are far greater than any gift you could have given them in this life. You can give sadaqah on behalf of the dead, could be your parents or any loved ones.

So in conclusion, your relationship with those you love doesn’t end with their departure from this world. Every du’a, every act of charity, every moment that u dedicate for their memory is a lifeline that transcends the grave🌺🫧🌺
