Webinar: Introduction to accessing and using European Social Survey data

This webinar was for anyone with an interest in understanding and using data from the European Social Survey (ESS). Since 2002, the ESS has collected survey data on social attitudes across over 30 European nations using a consistent and high quality survey methodology. It can therefore be used to understand whether and how attitudes have changed over time and how they vary between countries. The data themselves are freely available and easy to use.

This joint webinar between NatCen Social Research and the UK Data Service was presented by Alun Humphrey, UK National Coordinator for the ESS. It demonstrated how to access and analyse the ESS data and provided examples of how the data can be used and the benefits it can bring to your research.
