Jacoby has never been a guy that could read the field or throw with anticipation. The OL is bad but he is making them look so much worse with his unwillingness to pull the trigger when the throw is there. Processes, identifies and delivers too slow for the NFL.

Will see once KB is back I would sit Thornton and start Baker at this point

I am the absolute BIGGEST BIGGEST BIGGEST PATRIOTS FAN I KNOW and i love Brisette he is running for his life every play its not as easy on the field as it is to see the play materialize on a screen we can pause and examine i wish we were not 1 and 3 myself but bro what the fuck i feel for Brisette he has nobody he can rely on to let him read the field as the play transpires

These type of film reviews are so cool but maddening. I always say you guys do an excellent job with these. Overall its impossible to be for or against having brisset in. I respect him for what he means to this team.

But Drake has already shown signs of throwing with anticipation. I do think Drake is going to have to learn how to avoid taking major hits (when possible) in the pocket like brady did. I also believe he could make this offensive line look better because he can get the ball out with extreme touch.

I really dont care about turnovers with him. Caleb and all the other rookies have already wet the bed. You can see upward trends for at least Caleb and Daniels. This decision is so interesting.

It's like they don't trust the WR'S

I rather watch the old Georgia Tech triple option offense than watch Brissett play QB

$100 Million in cap space and picking at the top of every round and we ended up with Demontrey Jacobs as our LT. Wolf is knocking it out of the park.

i dont get the arugement to not start Maye. Jacoby is bringing the whole team down. these Wr are being hampered by him. if Maye gonna be good you will see it. if hes gonna be trash youl see it.

It must be difficult for Jacoby to even execute getting whacked so much at some point the fake injuries are a sign of the players giving up.

This is football, a game that can be won or lost at the line of scrimmage. Brissett is not the problem; his current play is a symptom of the problem. The O-line is bad. This is the major issue that bleeds into everything else. Bad O-Line play leads to 3 & outs on a regular, which keeps on defense on the field, which affects their efficiency. Fix the O-line.

I'm glad Maye will get his time to develop until this line gets both better and healthier.

He should retire and AVP SHOULD RESIGN maye needs a real coordinator that calls towards his strengths

No offense to Jacoby Brissett but he stinks

Is AVP a bigger issue than people are discussing, the team is bad but I heard bedard say players are frustrated with the route concepts

This is about the patriots making the wrong decision per usual. There’s so many better vet QBs they could’ve chose. He’s so ass

I think it is dishonest to say we are playing the best guy for the job and then subject us to Jacoby Brissett. No offense, but he is at his best, a back up quarterback. He does not need to be a mentor. He has always refused to throw the ball into NFL open windows and on top of that he is not great at seeing the field.
Drake Maye should be starting and learning on the job. The main take aways he can learn from Brissett are what not to do. That can only go so far, and especially if you know that you are the better option. The whole team knows it, and that is why you hear stories of a mutiny.

I understand he had pressure in his face but to throw that 9 ball 2-3 yards out of bounds isnt because of pressure he missed the throw it happens

Sometimes the quarterback can make the line look as bad than they actually are if he not seeing open receivers
