Please anyone seeing this, do yourself a favor and do a little research on both of those statements

Edit: One more thing, when using Tails, data can be temporarily stored in RAM while the system is running. Data could potentially be recovered until the computer is powered off. If you disconnect the USB stick but leave the system running, any data in RAM can still be accessible through various means, such as memory forensics.
