😢😢 A 52 year old black woman in my living room in tears. This has always been one of my favorite songs. As a little girl I watched Grease and wished I was her as I know many little girls did. No one else could have delivered these songs like her. So much feeling and so beautiful even today. I’m really sad she (and I feel like part of my childhood) is gone. I'm crying and singing my heart out in her memory. She was such a huge part of my childhood. My mom turned me on to her music. I was even listening to Olivia's music singing to it a few months ago. I loved watching interviews of her and watching old TV show appearances. She was a class act and never let her battle with Cancer get her down. Her legacy will live on through her music and Cancer research center.
