THIS ACTUALLY WORKS!!! I’ve struggled the past 2 weeks trying to get my store bought antenna to pick up more than 2 channels and tonight we found your video and tried it! It instantly picked up 34 channels and they all show perfectly! Thank you

Accidentally cut my Spectrum cable in the yard so I lost internet - found this video and was amazed at how well it worked to get TV going for my bedridden mom... THANK YOU for posting this! I knew if there was a hack the YouTube community would have it! 😊

My girlfriend was skeptical, but I whipped one of these up in about 5 minutes and it worked! It pulled in the three strongest stations in the area. Thanks very much!

This is absolutely brilliant - took about 10 minutes to make with immediate results. I got 21 HD channels - thank you

I found this video. I almost didn't believe it. But as desperate as I was to have some kind of entertainment ( because i literally live in the middle of nowhere in the country on a ranch, which also brought my hopes down a bit) I made this antenna just like the video . I couldn't believe it. I got 11 channels as clear as cable tv. This is an amazing antenna, thank you so much for the idea. IT REALLY WORKS even in the middle of nowhere!!! 😁

Yup. It works. The best part was drinking the beer to get the cans.
Thanks a bunch for posting!

Thank you. I'll start by saying I bought the 55 mile RCA Amplified Indoor Flat HDTV antenna, somewhat it worked but not to my expectations. I returned the product. Few days later went back again to buy another antenna. Had it in my hand and that's when I grabbed my cell and typed "How to make an antenna". Your video was the second one I saw.
Just like in your video the only difference I use an antenna matching transformer and weld it to the cans. Although with the RCA antenna did grab 5 extra channels, with your antenna all Top Local channels my TV did not freeze at all, 68 channels in total and only 4 channels froze.
Again, thank you very much.

I made one out of a screw on the end of a tv cable wrapped in tin foil and it works great 🤣

I wasn't expecting this to work but I tried it with two coke cans and it actually does ☺️
I'm only around 2km away from the nearest TV mast so picking up a signal in my area is probably not very difficult. Still impressed that this works so well.
I will buy a proper TV antenna but this will do until then.

Hell yeah this actually works alright, I soldered some longer cable into mine and used some heat shrink and it works pretty Mint. Just in time to watch my favorite team play the semi final

3 differences in mine: 1 I used Mountain Dew Kickstart. Slightly longer can. Two I used a 75 ohm transmitter to the can tabs and 3 I used a metal coat hanger. But man this antenna works awesome! It's my most trusted antenna out of the 6 antennas I have in my house!

Thanks! I actually used a couple of tall boy aluminum cans, as well as metal tape and a metal clothes hanger.. Works like a charm!
