for the chicken run, you can but rock down for drainage and then sand and then dirt that will help with water control. it worked for us!

we are going to get the after affects of Debby on Friday and Saturday here in Maryland. for us it will be a tropical storm with about 8 in of rain in 24hr. are power normally goes out and trees go down, so i can't imagine what happens in Florida. good luck!
