I drove one of these as a loaner from the dealer while my M5 was getting some work done, and I was pleasantly surprised. The exhaust tone was awesome and I loved the "gurgles" I'm not sure why they were so critical of it. Very sporty and spirited car, it was fun to drive if you are ok with the very limited uses of a 2 seat roadster.

played back the first 7 seconds in 0.25x and they got the perfect subliminal messaging making you think it’s a supra before u even realize it. After the z4 badge they put the supra badge for .01 seconds to get it in your mind hahaha

Not sure why the little guy hated the car so much. The exhaust sounds fine; the steering is fine (except in comfort). It's almost as fast as a M2 0-60, and it's quite comfortable on long drives. THAT'S why you buy it. It also feels bigger than a AMG on the inside, and the quality - especially the technical POV - is PERFECT. Looks better than the Supra-beetle also.

I really think it's a good and fresh design. Drove one last week, the Z4 30i and I really enjoeyed it. It feels like a BMW in my opinion and the new interior is refreshing and more modern looking. I think my choice would be the Z4 M40i because I think its the perfect engine for such a sporty roadster.
