Leave Me Alone (2020 Lockdown version) - The Galileo 7

Another entry in an occasional series. Much of our 2012 album 'Staring At The Sound' didn't really live up to our expectations, and we've intermittently talked, in a semi-serious fashion, about re-recording some of the songs ever since it's release. But when does a band get a chance to re-record old material without being indulgent and sacrificing opportunities to do new stuff? Why, when there's a global pandemic of course! We can't get into a studio together to work up new material, but we can collaborate remotely to have another crack at old songs we can still remember how to play (with a bit of homework). So, following on from the 2020 version of 'The Man Who Wasn't There' a few weeks ago, here's a new treatment of 'Leave Me Alone'. Maybe not the most apt sentiments for these times (or maybe they are) but a decent song nonetheless. Not too different from the original version, but with a bit more, how shall we put it... bollocks.
