Is Week 2 of the Black Ops 6 Beta Any Better?

Now that we've had some time to play around with the changes with week 2 of the Black Ops 6 Beta, I wanted to share some of my thoughts and experiences compared to week 1 as well as some of the big issues I'm still running into. How is the second weekend of the BO6 Beta treating you so far? For those that played week 1, is this week better or worse for you overall?

Coming from someone who generally likes small maps, the maps are too damn small for the movement style of the game. Also, the lanes are too open.

This game is just Go Go Go. Evertime I kill someone in front of me, I immediately have to turn around and get ready for the next gun fight. People slide from ever direction. It's hard to stay alive. And then it seems like it takes so many bullets to kill. It's getting tiring real fast

4 year development.. and we have terrible map design that does not compliment the momvement yet we are praising this trash

As a slightly above average 1.2/1.3 KD player without SBMM, I feel like I get shafted the most by the system. I'm not bad enough to benefit from it or good enough to really overcome it, so I'm constantly fighting for my life just to have a 1.0 KD in these lobbies. It's exhausting.

The spawns are still egregious. On the new map I watched 5 enemies spawn right in front of me and I killed them all and the game kept spawning them right on top of me. The whole time they're raging in the death mic. So bad.

People complained about larger maps because the larger maps these days are awful with no flow. It’s been that way since MW2019. Even the advanced movement era didn’t have this issue nearly as much because even if the map wasn’t the best the 3 lanes kept the flow. Now it’s all small to medium maps with the fastest movement in any CoD with awful
SBMM. I really miss pre-mw2019 gameplay and maps.

I must be playing a different game. Shit is no different. I’m shooting marshmallows. Everybody else is shooting cannons. I’m getting absolute garbage hit detection, everybody can dodge my bullets, but I can’t even get my scope up before I’m dead.

Unfortunately it’s the opposite for me on the desync. Smh. Its making me not want to play this game.

Every map is small. The breakneck pace leaves no room for strategy. Avg life span 5-15s. Not a fan. Garbage call of duty year again 😢

This game has the worst Time to die ive ever experienced

It also so backwards (to me) to have bonkers adderall gfuel movement but then lean towards small maps (huh?). Spawns are constantly flipping as a result and SMG’s are dominating

The packet bursts always happen when I’m finna engage an enemy to the point I feel as if I’m being rigged in every gunfight.

After a lot of matches with:
Cranked up SBMM
Horrifying frame drops
Miserable spawns
Annoying desync
Packet Burst
Babylon being a worse version of Shipment
Scorestreak cost still being insanely high while the streaks are just awful
My conclusion is no. This is the most unpolished beta I ever played and it's supposedly the one with the longest dev time(3 years and 11 months).
Oh and the assault rifles absolutely suck

This game feels like it's for players that only play the small maps playlist in MW3. They should seriously consider switching to 5v5 if they can't figure out how to improve the spawns. I'll rent the game for the campaign, but I think I'm gonna go with Delta Force and Marvel Rivals for that multiplayer fix.

EOMM is the “cancer” of COD. If they don’t remove it, it will end up killing the franchise… It’s all I have to say.

It's so bad it actually broke the cycle of abuse and I feel basically no urge to play it. Thanks Treyarch for fumbling that bad.

i love just in the first 40 seconds of the video he says "it feels significantly better" and he stutters bad twice.

Granted I’ve only played maybe 3 hours this weekend, but my experience has been just instant time to die on my end, versus a long ttk at longer ranges, wild lag spikes, and terrible spawns with constant flips. Quite often I would spawn inside the opposite spawn and just be insta deleted. If these spawns are good, last week must have been awful! I also don’t think I ever heard a footstep
