Had another idea about doing it at the point, and using it as a "Pit of Death" (lore accurate because Dr. Strange does have one in the Sanctum) then getting certain players that has knock back to push or pull players in there like Sue and Winter Soldier for like a last final attmept if your near the point.

Thats why you always jump in the air to float while you place a portal, and always put the portal on your side some where thats away from the default location

jump before you portal to float and always move your original portal to the side of you a good bit. There’s several ways to counter a strange portal but this will prevent them all
