The Edna episode is one of the most heartfelt moments for me (along with the episode where Homer almost dies). It was so influential to me that everytime I break up with a girl, I become Woodrow and put my heart and soul into my last written message

the early seasons were what defined this series as a comedic triumph. The ones that air today are truly horrible.
