On the one hand a shouting match with Adrian Newey is a terrible idea. On the other hand, Verstappen is the only driver that actually manages to get pace out of the car reliably, so it's not exactly a car anyone can jump into and find pace, either.

Pierre mid af. Had the 4th best car last year and only got one podium. Had the 3rd/4th best car of 2020 and managed a win but nothing else. Don’t ever let somebody tell you that an AlphaTauri is slow. 2022 yes, but every other year, it’s just the previous season’s Red Bull, and is a very fast car.
